Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On Lower Legs

i have dark spots on my lower legs and diabetic. im working out and have cleaned up my diet and dropped weight, but these dark spots( more like a few large patches) aren't getting any better. is there anything i can do to aid in getting rid of or lessening them?
