Suggest Treatment For Deformed Toe Nail

My big toe nail bed was removed years ago. However my nail grew back as two vertical pieces. My toes are ugly and I don't feel pretty wearing sandals or any open-toe-type shoes. 1. Is there any treatment that would help my nail to grow back in a normal way - squared. (originally I was told nothing would grow back in that toe space) 2. Is there a substitute for a nail. The temporary ones from the salon fall off because they do not have a proper grip of the grown pieces mentioned above. HELP! Summer is approaching Fast.
