Suggest Treatment For Depression

My son aged 31 suffers depression he takes 120mg cymbalta but missed dew days dosage as he had no medication. He is violently sick. Vomiting and extreme pain in his stomach. I have read up tonite re this drug and dint like what I read. Why would he be on such a high dosage
