Suggest Treatment For Dermatitis In A Child

My son has acute dermatitis. He is 6 yrs old. It has been preety controlled over the last few years but needs constant moisturization and other basic skin care. But last couple of days he seemed to have developed a major rash on the skin above 2 of his left fingers. It worsened and started to ooze as well. Would just giving him an antibiotic like spoidex (oral) and soframycin (ointment) enough for now?
