Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Bad Body Odor In An Infant

My 9 month old has had diarrhea the past two days and it is smelling fishy. Her Pediatrician said pedialyte, but she won t drink that and has been content with her regular diet. Is the fish smell something to be concerned with and is it common? Should I continue to give her the regular diet?
