Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Grasping While Having Bipolar Disorder

My boyfriend, 57 year old male, previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder but currently not under a doctors care, is having trouble grasping things and is forgetting simple things like flushing the toilet. This has been going on about a week. 5 10 and 212 pounds. Goes to the gym three times a week. Takes many supplements for muscles gain. He is a sheet metal worker. I can t get him to go to the clinic even though he has insurance coverage. Linda
