Suggest Treatment For Discoid Lupus

I have discoid lupus and i've been on medication (methotrexate and depomedrol) for almost 2 years now. Recently i went to the dentist and discovered that i had 4 cavities (none of them were painful). I haven't had a cavity in years because i take really good care of my teeth. How can i avoid this?
