Suggest Treatment For Discomfort And Tightness In Ankles

I got hit on the inner ankle (medial malleolus talus) by a pitch playing a softball game and I am worried the swelling will not go down completely. When I feel my ankle it almost feels hard and I am afraid my ankle won t look the way it used to. It is also causing a lot of discomfort and tightness is my ankle and it is affecting my ankle mobility. Can someone tell me what that hard bump is and if it will go away?
