My mom is 82 years old and was diagnosed with Alzheimer s, on Tuesday she was throwing up and had diarrhea, I took her to the hospital and found that she had diverticulitis, she had no pain and they said that the throwing up was something. Anyway, they gave her 2 antibiotics to treat the diverticulitis, and she is severely sick. Can she stop taking the meds, because she had not eaten since Wednesday.
