Suggest Treatment For Dizziness,headache And Ear Infection

I had a sinus and middle ear infection which caused a hole in my eardrum. I was in the mountains and drove from an altitude of 8500 to 1500 which did not seem to bother me any more than normal until 2 hours later. I got very dizzy and could not sleep at all. The same thing happened when I came back up the mountain yesterday. Nothing helped the dizziness, accompaning headache, or inability to fall asleep. I saw an ENT yesterday who is watching the eardrum and did not mention it to him because it had not happened the second time. Should I not be driving that trip during the healing of the eardrum or is it just coincidental?
