Suggest Treatment For Dry And Itchy Penis Shaft

My penis shaft gets extremely itchy. I ve had it for about 6 months now just hoping it will go away. I ve tried to put peroxide on it which caused extreme burn but I want it to go away. It is dry itchy skin. Please help I do not want to go to a doctor.
