Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough And Stomach Pain In Child

Hi my daughter is 6 years old and keeps getting this dry cough now and then. I know that kids this age may catch this often from other kids in school etc but with her this happens very often alomost once a month and takes a long time to go...At times it lasts really long ..seems to sort of become less then again increases so sometimes she has it for close to 2-3 weeks at a time...and whenever coughing she complains that her stomach is paining...I give her protussa thrice a day and if it gets bad I take ger to the doc and then continue with medication as he prescribes. But I really need to have a permanent splution to drastically reduce this cough as it really drains her. most of the time it comes without fever
