Suggest Treatment For Dry Patches On The Calves

I have patches of dry, non-itching skin on my calves that don't respond to at-home exfoliants. Do you know what this might be? For the record, I'm 5'4", about 200 pounds, and have hyperthyroidism. I also have a job that requires that I sit for long hours, if any of that information helps. Thank you for your time
