Suggest Treatment For Dry Throat Cough And Phlegm

I have had Sarcoidis of the lungs for 10yrs,I am 60yrs old. In the early stages I had prenesilone. I have stopped the desease which has left my lungs scared. I sometimes get a dry throat and a cough depending on the moisture in the air. I cough up phlem in the mornings, none of which is a huge problem. My daughter has Ankylosing Spondulitus she has a low immune system. She has just given birth to a baby boy 2 weeks old. She says everytime I visit her she gets a bad burning sore throat. I feel terrible that I cant hold the baby or help her out. I ave been to Dr for a checkup but I do wake up with a dry throat and phlem. Anything that I can do? YYYY@YYYY
