Suggest Treatment For Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

I have had dysfunctional uterine bleeding and went to a nurse practioner to have a pap and she tried to do a uterine biopsy, but couldn t get my cervix dialated she said it was due to having C-sections and also my cervix is scarred, probably due to a cone biopsy I had done years ago, anyway, she wants me to go to the gyno to see if she can do it, she said that if she can t surgery might be needed, would it be surgery to do the biopsy or would there be another way to get a sample of the lining of my uterus
