Suggest Treatment For E Coli Infection Post Stent Removal From Kidney

Hi, thank you doctor. My daughter became very sick, after having a stent removed from her kidney. She is in the hospital and today I was told that she has pan-sensitive e-coli in her urine and found in her blood cultures. She is allergic to sulfa drugs, the doctors what to receive antibotics until her blood cultures are negative. What are complications from this type of e-coli infection? Thanks Patti
