Suggest Treatment For Ear Discharge

I went tubing yesterday and did a face plant. Large amounts of water got into my ear. It has been slowly draining and some hearing has returned. It has been about 10 hours and I feel like the draining has stopped, but I still feel stopped up. Additionally, I found a long stringy piece of tissue in my ear as I was wiping out some of the water. It was red in color--like muscle. I'm not sure what to do.
