Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection And Perforation Of Ear Drum

2 Weeks ago I was treated for ear infection with oral antibiotics. Since then I have been having slight problems hearing. For the past 5 days I belive I have had a perferated ear drum on one side. How long should I wait before I take this to my PCP as a concern? As these tend to heal on their own.
