Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection

I was diagnosed with an ear infection 2 days ago, even after taking antibiotics the pain is getting worse. It feels as though a knife is being dig into my ear, and a screeching noise has started in the ear. I can't sleep, eat, or drink without severe pain. What should I do?
