Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection

I've had a ear ache/infection of sorts for about a month or so. Its interfering with my hearing, especially when I try and close my jaw. I cant even close my jaw compleatly, and from time to time it itches, but its more painful. I have no insurance so I need something over the counter remedy if possible. What can I do?
