Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection

My daughter has an ear infection. Today is the fourth day of medication and her ear is completly blocked with white gunk and clear fluid. Should I take her to a clinic today to get this removed so that the drops with go into her ear. She is on an antibiotic and ear drops.
