Suggest Treatment For Excessive Menstrual Bleeding

I'm 22 female and i have been bleeding for about 5 weeks now and im not sure what could be the problem. I havent seen a doctor about it, i thought i was just starting a normal cycle on Jan. 22 but it was very light not like normal, then about a week later was when i got heavy. My normal mentral cycle only lasts a week. So anways after 2 weeks it got kind of light again, at the begining of this week it got really heavy, and i was seeing a lot of clots, some were large. That only lasted a couple days but not i am just bleeding heavy still, it only seems to have let up just a little. I've never had an issue like this before, or any issues with my cycle. I have also never been to a gynaecologist because i've been to afraid, it really bothers me.
