Suggest Treatment For Excessive Saliva Secretion In Mouth Causing Choking Sensation

I had a virus back in January and noticed that I am producing more saliva the normal. I choke at night because there s so much saliva and then I coughed so hard that my whole body feels like it s being electrified a couple times I ve been quite frightenedBuy a severe pain in my head and also the feeling that I need to vomit I spoke to my doctor about it and he said he had no idea why that was happening. This is not answer and I don t know where to go from here can you help me
