Suggest Treatment For Excessive Sweating

My friend was on HRT for 20years,her doctors stopped them straigth away,saying her symptons would go after 3 months,this was 18 months ago,the sweats have got worse,and she does not sleep very well, she has told her doctor on sevaral times, but he says ,he does not know,how long it will be before the sweats night aswell as day stop,what treatment could she try to ease this problem.
