Suggest Treatment For Facial Swelling

hello, over te past couple of years I had an ear wax build up, I never tok care of. Recently I saw a Doctor and he gave me antibotics and advised me to purchase some over the counter fluid. I never did it, and now months later I feel the side of face slightly swollen. I looked up the bone structure and its called "condyle". Please advise me on what to do..or what it could be?
