Suggest Treatment For Fecal Incontinence In A 39 Year Old

My husband has been coming home from work and changing clothes and showering. I keep finding him washing his clothes because he has pooped in his pants. Not a lot but this has happened at least 2 times a week for about a month. I am wondering if something might be wrong and he might need to see a doctor? He is only 39!
