Suggest Treatment For Fever And Bilateral Ear Infection

My girlfriend's 1 year old son has been experiencing a fever of up to 104 degrees for the past 3 days now, we were at the clinic yesterday and they said he has a bilateral ear infection and they prescribed Amoxicillin for 2 doses a day and we have given tylenol every 6 hours but the fever will only drop to about 101 and then climbs back up to 104.
