Suggest Treatment For Fever And Groin Pain

I have had pain in my groin lymph node area for a few weeks. It started on the 5th of February. I also had a low grade fever for a couple of days, and by Monday, I had developed a flu like virus. I was treated and have felt better since I finished my Z-pak on the 17th of February. Now the pain is back in my groin in the same area. They have not been swollen and I am not running a fever. What could be causing this and should I see my doctor? I do have HSV and take a daily medication for it. Could it be the onset of a breakout?
