Suggest Treatment For Fever And Red Rashes On The Body

Hi i have a three year old who shows signs of scarlett fever, but was tested for strep throat and it cam back negative. he has had a fever for 72 hours and the red rash on his body she even mentioned some fluid in his ear but told me to just give tylenol. Shouldn't my son be on an antibiotic?
