Suggest Treatment For Fever In A Child

My daughter is 18 months old and is having fever for last 2 days. Our doctor pres ribbed her Crocin & Meftal-p and we have given her for past 2 days. He also suggested to start usuing Zifi 50 mg syrup if the fever does not reduce after 2 days. We started using Zifi this evening, but did not see an improvement in her temp for last couple of hours. Should Zifi given in combination with Crocin or should we wait for couple more hours to get the temp under control
