Suggest Treatment For Fever In A Child

Hi Doctor; My daughter caught fever yesterday morning it was about 102 degrees and I gave her meftal P 5 ml and she is 9 years old. She was free of fever and was playing normally and again caught fever in the evening I consulted our doctor and he advised to give calpol and allerid but still she continues to have fever intermittently can I continue with meftal and stop calpol, kindly advise
