Suggest Treatment For Finger Laceration

I lacerated my left finger on Th. Right at the PIP joint I placed some stere-strips on it, and splinted it also. Yet, still notice some bleeding on much,yet some. Can I still get stitches? Not worried about tetanus, bleed well, cleaned it well, and my shot records are up to date. I am a Park Ranger, and where many a hats for that job.
