Suggest Treatment For Flu In Children

I gave my 10 year old children s Claritin earlier in the day to help with a runny nose from a cold. It isn t helping and I was wondering if I can now give him children s flu plus with acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine meleate, dextrmethorphan HBr, and phenylephrine HCI?
