Suggest Treatment For Fluid Discharge From Finger Nail

Please type your query here...I have severe arthritis in the first digit of my middle finger and it looks like an infection of the nail bed which oozes a clear liquid. The soreness comes and goes and does not respond to salt, soap, or anti-bacterial salves.
Can anything be done?
