Suggest Treatment For Frequent Ear Problem With Yellow Discharge

I have had ear problems for a long time and see an ENT on a regular basis. I almost contantly have yellowish or green drainage from my ear that smells bad. I am frequently put on 7-10 days of antibiotics and steroid drops and the symptoms clear up while on the medication but almost always start again shortly after finishing them. I recently had a culture done during a routine physical and it returned with heavy growth of staphylococcus aureus. I'm going back to my ENT tomorrow but am worried that they will just start the same cycle again. Do you have any advise on something that might actually fix the problem instead of being on antibiotics every few months over and over?
