Suggest Treatment For Gall Bladder Issues And Pain

I had a HIDA scan yesterday and apparently have an improperly functioning gall bladder. This explains the mild pain I ve had in my right side, front and back, as I understand, but why or how is this happening to me as I m generally a healthy male, 54 years old, and eat pretty decent, have a physically demanding job that keeps me fairly fit? I like to have a drink occasionally, a beer with dinner or a cocktail later in the evening. I have a high fiber diet, oatmeal, cerals, fruit and veggies daily, plenty of protein from chicken meat and a couple eggs each week. Yogurt daily, milk. Why the damaged gall bladder? And I m not even sure if my liver is messed up as a result, since I ve yet to see a specialist. It s been about 4 months of thinking I had back or rib problems, only to find that these are symptoms that coincide with liver or gall bladder disease. Am I too late in getting this diagnosed?
