Suggest Treatment For Ganglion Cyst In The Ball Of Foot

I was diagnosed with a ganglion cyst in the ball of my foot and a neuroma between 3rd and 4th toe of the left foot..the doctor tried a few cortisone injections but nothing worked so she went in the direction of surgically removing both of them. I am a diabetic and as I read things online I see now surgery should have been the last resort..we never tried orthotics or physical therapy..nothing...It has been a mess ever since. my 3rd and 4th toe point drastically to the left and if I am on my feet too long my 3rd and 4th toe feel like they are going to explode and they make my baby toe flip upward. I have shooting pain all the time. I shared with the doctor about the pain and it was even more painful to walk..I literally hobbled through my house with tears streaming down my face because it was so painful to walk. The doctor took an x-ray of my foot and and said it was normal. After researching I decided to go to another podiatrist and he is helping me get to the bottom of all this mess. The doctor ordered a nerve conductive study and a bone density test and he did an x-ray of my foot only to find I had a rather large heel stress fracture as well as a heel spur. I will find out the rest of the results next week. I know you can't really get into advising or anything else that could cause a law suit. Can you just tell me if you have ever encountered a ganglion cyst on the ball of foot and a neuroma between third and fourth toe and if so was the surgery successful?
