Suggest Treatment For Genetic Hair Loss
Hello Dr Prasad.
I’m 32 y.o. male and suffer from genetic hair loss for 14 years. I use Propecia for 7 years and the hair loss slowed down a lot.
Last couple of months , the hair loss increased drastically as if I didn't use Propecia (but I do).
A dermatologist told me that I have "harmonic eruption" (without any tests), that will pass in few months that influences hair loss.
He suggested I use minoxidil 5% for few months.
What do you think about his diagnosis ?
Isn't minoxidil is permanent treatment and should not be used for few months?
Thank you very much for your help.
