Suggest Treatment For Head Lice

I have been battling head lice for awhile now and am about sick to death of treatments that doesn't work, cleaning over and over, treating furniture, bedding and anywhere else that needed it. A friend told me about Kwell shampoo. She used is on her child and it was like setting a bomb off on them. I have spent untold amounts of money tring to find something that works. Can you help me?
