Suggest Treatment For Headache And Severe Pain In The Arm

I went to the doctor a couple days ago because of the severe pain I was experiencing in my whole arm (Including hand and wrist.) and was told an x-ray I had found a lump on my spine. So, they're sending me to a specialist. The pain is now in my shoulder, spine and neck as well.. I'm also getting bad headaches at times. They've given me painkillers but they're not working that wlel.. they only take the pain away sometimes. What could this be??? I'm so scared.. the doctor didn't tell me anything!
