Suggest Treatment For Headache With Nausea And Vomiting

Hello, my boyfriend is a 31 yr old male with type 1 diabetes. About a week ago, he has been having severe headaches, that are so painful they cause nausea, vomiting, and insomnia. His pulse pressures have averaged in the 60s, never lower than 43, and have even dropped down to 23 and 27 when he is lying down resting. His BP has ranged from 101/54 to 139/96. He has had seen a cardiologist before we were dating and she prescribed midodrine (I think 5mg). He had stopped taking the pills a few months back but began taking them again once the headaches began. He has just lost his health insurance and so has been reluctant to go to the ED.
