Suggest Treatment For Hearing Impairment With Throat Pain

my husband is hearing impaired and about 4 days ago his left ear started to get muffled and the side of his throat hurts to touch it and his throat hurts and he says it feels like something is stuck in his throat and his ear hurts but he doesnt have an ear infection.he says he can somewhat hear from morning till about 3 in the pm and then sound starts to deterriorate.i need help he is stressing out and thats not a good thing for him because he has had heart surgery back in 2006 and stress gets his blood pressure high and not good.
