Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss In Left Ear

I am 54, female and on December 10, 2014, I woke up with a fullness and pressure in my left ear. After seeing an ENT, an MRI showed I did not have an acoustic neuroma but the hearing test showed total hearing loss in that ear.
I have been checked for vascular issues, diabetes, thyroid issues etc. And now I am having numbness on the left side of my face as well from the corner of my eye to my chin.
I am baffled and so is the Doctor. They are planning to send me to the Mayo clinic in Rochester.
I have no dizziness or vertigo. And I have no pain ...just discomfort as the pressure and fullness in the ear remains.
