Suggest Treatment For Heavy Bleeding From Vagina Due To Bulky Uterus

hi dr my age 40 form 2 months periods come 20 days and having heavy bleeding for 8 days,iam go for scan in that report bulkey uterus with defined hyperchoic lesion seen in cervical?poly measuring 9*9mm with combined endometrial thickness 7mm,both ovaries are normal and doctor says go for minor opparation for cleaning.plz advise me any other medical trement for aviod this problem
