Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

Hi. Im 46 and still having very very heavy periods. They start with bright red then go to almost black by the end. I also have to wear 2 pads because I bleed so much. It is very uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do to slow them down or lessen the bleeding?
