Suggest Treatment For Heavy Mucus Cough And Cold In An Autistic Child

Hello, 10 year old grandson - autistic - has a heavy mucous cold/cough. Today he has developed several spots on his face - nowhere else as yet. He has been taking Calpol. Both his parents are exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
Just a bit concerned about the spots. He's already had chicken pox.
