Suggest Treatment For Herpes Infection

Hi I was recently diagnosed with herpes... but I did not get a blood test. I got a pelvic exam though, and was diagnosed on the spot. I had white sores, but they were not liquid filled, nor did they scab when healing. is it possible it s something else?
