Suggest Treatment For High BP Despite Having Thyroid

Hi, my mother-in-law has been suffering of a high b.p of 200/110 Hg from the last time she got it it measured, as obvious it has been without any prior symptoms, she is under medication of thyroid which is within normal range, what can be the reason behind it?
