Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

I have started having elevated blood pressure & taking 5mn amlodopine, but I have been sick since Friday with head & chest congestion, a bad case of it. I picked up a pack of Mucinex D at the drug store the girl said it was best, but after I got home it says not to take with beta blockers, I don t take them, but they can t give me A refund so is it ok to take it?
