Suggest Treatment For Hip And Groin Pain

Hi, my 67 year old mum has excrutiating hip/groin pain. This has gone on for 6 weeks. every week she goes to the doctors and they just give her more pain killers. None of thes have done any good whatsoever. She cannot get out the house,cant get in the bath and is finding everyday life very difficult. The docs say it is too early to be doing scans an xrays yet.
